Finishing surgery - you can see the titanium implant in my big right toe - first metatarsal joint. The surgeon cleaned out a ton (almost 20 years of build up) of arthritic build up in the joint, and had to replace the end of the bone with a little titanium ball to restore range of motion to the joint and remove any chance of future arthritis.
